Joosuc (박주석) is a South Korean rapper and hip-hop pioneer, known for his
impactful contributions to the Korean hip-hop scene since 2000. Born on October
30, 1978, in Seoul, he debuted with the EP Only The Strong Survive in 2000,
followed by his first full-length album, Beatz 4 Da Streetz, in 2001. Throughout
the early 2000s, Joosuc played a key role in shaping the underground hip-hop
movement with albums like Welcome 2 The Infected Area (2002) and Superior Vol.1
