Jonezetta was an American rock band from Clinton, Mississippi, formed in 2002
while its members were still in high school. The group initially played
occasional gigs on the Southern college circuit. The band's lineup changed over
time, notably adding keyboardist Timothy Jordan II, who died by suicide in
December 2005. In the same year, Jonezetta signed with Tooth & Nail Records and
their debut album, Popularity, was released in 2006, preceded by the single "Get
Ready (Hot Machete)" (2006). Jonezetta's second album, Cruel to Be Young, was
