John Robert Waughman, known as Johnny Warman, and born in Bethnal Green, London,
England, is a singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey inspired by the
Beatles at age 11 and later joined the school choir. In 1964, he performed at
the Royal Opera House with Maria Callas and Tito Gobbi. Warman's early career
included joining the band Bearded Lady, where he served as vocalist and rhythm
guitarist. He released his first single "Rock Star" in 1975 with Bearded Lady
