Christopher John Trevor Midgley, known professionally as Beau, was born in May
1946 in Leeds, England, and is a British singer-songwriter and twelve-string
guitar player. He first gained recognition in the late 1960s through his
recordings for John Peel's Dandelion Records label. His album Beau (1969) and
subsequent release Creation (1971), which featured backing musicians Jim Milne
and Steve Clayton from Tractor, marked his early breakthrough. Beau released the
