Joe Krown is an American keyboardist. He began playing piano as a child and later discovered the Hammond organ while attending college. In the late 1980s, Krown relocated to Boston and formed his own band, touring around New England. He joined Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown’s band, Gate's Express, in 1991, remaining until Brown's death in 2005. Krown debuted as a solo artist in 1997 with the album Just the Piano...Just the Blues.
