Jimmy Crowley (born 1950) is an Irish traditional and folk musician, songwriter,
and song collector from Douglas, County Cork. Crowley performed vocals, guitar,
and bouzouki and began collecting traditional music at age 16. In the 1970s, he
co-founded the band Stoker's Lodge, releasing the albums Boys of Fairhill (1975)
and Camphouse Ballads (1979). Following the group's disbandment, Crowley formed
The Electric Band, which recorded a reggae version of the song “The Boys of
