Jesca Hoop is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who has gained a
substantial following due to the wide range of her musical styles that music
critic Alexis Petridis called "compellingly unique and hard to pigeonhole". Born
in California (21 April 1975), to Mormon parents, she sang hymns and folksongs
