Jeremy Lubbock
Jeremy Michael Lubbock, born 4 June 1931 in Kensington, London, was an English
pianist, conductor, arranger, and composer who began learning piano as a child
and later studied architecture at Oxford while performing jazz in London and
Paris. His first recordings appeared in the late 1950s, and he soon gained
recognition as a touring performer and arranger, developing a distinctive style
that blended classical and popular music. In 1977, he relocated to Los Angeles,
