Jeff Black
Jeff Black, born on December 3, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American
singer-songwriter. He received his first guitar at age ten and performed at
Blayney's before relocating to Nashville. His debut album Birmingham Road,
recorded with members of Wilco, was released in 1998 and was followed by the
2003 album Honey and Salt and the 2005 album Tin Lily. Black’s compositions were
covered by Alison Krauss, Waylon Jennings, and BlackHawk, whose rendition of
"That's Just About Right" was a Top 10 Country single in 1996 and "King of the
World" was a Top 30 Country single in 1998....
