Javiera Mena
The Chilean electro pop artist Javiera Mena was born in Santiago in 1983 and
began performing in public whilst still a student studying at university. Her
musical career gathered momentum slowly with the artist promoting herself on
early social media sites such as Myspace. Her debut album 'Esquemas Juveniles'
was released in 2006 by the indie label Entre Rios and received widespread
critical acclaim in the music press. The album marked her transition from being
an acoustic-based performer into an electronic music artist and set the theme
