Jason Raize Rothenberg, known professionally as Jason Raize, was an American
singer and actor born on July 20, 1975, in Oneonta, New York. He began his
acting career as a teenager and adopted the stage name Jason Raize in 1994.
Raize performed in various regional theater productions before landing the role
of Simba in the Broadway musical The Lion King (1997). During this time, he
released two singles, "Taste the Tears" (1999) and "You Win Again" (2000),
