Jason Rosanoff Cropper, born on June 27, 1971, in Oakland, California, is an
American musician. He started his career playing guitar in Brotherhood Groove
Grand Junction and moved to Los Angeles where he met Patrick Wilson and Matt
Sharp. This led to the formation of Sixty Wrong Sausages, which later evolved
into Weezer. Cropper played rhythm guitar for Weezer from 1992 to 1993,
contributing to songs like "My Name Is Jonas" on The Blue Album. He left Weezer
in 1993 and formed Chopper One with his wife Amy, releasing the album Playing
