Jasmin Stavros
Jasmin Stavros (1954–2023), born Milo Vasić in Split, was a Croatian pop singer
of Romanian descent. Stavros completed primary music education in piano and
secondary education in double bass before performing as a percussionist in the
Croatian National Orchestra for four years. His professional solo career began
with the album Priče iz kavane (1987). One of his most recognizable works, the
song “Dao bih sto Amerika”, reached number 2 on the national charts. Stavros’
