Jan Blomqvist
Jan Freter, better known by his stage name Jan Blomqvist, born in 1982 in
Ahnsbeck, Germany, is a German musician and music producer. After starting his
musical path playing guitar in a punk rock band, he moved to Berlin at age 19
and abandoned his university studies in aerospace engineering and mathematics to
focus on music. He gave his first public performance in 2008 at the club Tresor.
His debut single “Big Jet Plane” was released in 2011 on Dantze, followed by the
2012 EP Ink on Stil vor Talent, featuring the track “Something Says”.
