James Louis McCartney, born on September 12, 1977, in London, England, is an English musician and songwriter who began playing guitar at age nine. He contributed guitar and percussion to his father Paul McCartney's albums Flaming Pie (1997) and Driving Rain (2001), and played lead guitar on his mother Linda McCartney's posthumous album Wide Prairie (1998).
