James Patrick O'Malley, also known as J. Pat O'Malley, born on March 15, 1904, in Burnley, Lancashire, was an English actor and singer. He began his career as a vocalist with Jack Hylton and his orchestra from 1930 to 1935, performing "Amy, Wonderful Amy" among other songs. In 1935, O'Malley moved to the United States, where he adopted the stage name J. Pat O'Malley to avoid confusion with another actor.
