J.C. Lodge, born June Carol Lodge on December 1, 1958 in England, is a
British-Jamaican reggae singer and fine artist. Born to a Jamaican father and
British mother, Lodge was taken to Jamaica as a child where she became immersed
in R&B and reggae music. Her breakthrough came with the release of "Someone
Loves You Honey" in 1980, a reggae version of Charley Pride's country and
western tune which topped the Jamaican charts and earned gold and platinum discs
