Jonathan Kovacs, known professionally as J-Five, was born on March 26, 1983, in
Los Angeles, California. He is an American singer and rapper, raised by a French
father and Austrian mother, and the eldest of four children. Growing up in North
Hollywood, Kovacs was influenced by classic rock bands such as The Beatles, Led
Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones, as well as hip-hop artists like A Tribe Called
