It Dies Today is an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, that formed in 2001. The founding members included vocalist Nicholas Brooks, guitarist Chris Cappelli, and Steve Lemke. They released the demo Let the Angels Whisper Your Name in 2001 and the EP Forever Scorned in 2002. After signing with Trustkill Records, they released their debut album, The Caitiff Choir in 2004, which sold over 90,000 copies. The band appeared at Ozzfest in 2005.
