Born in Nottingham on May 27, 1996, pianist Isata Kanneh-Manson comes from a
famous family of British musicians. Like her siblings, she studied at London's
Purcell School and then at the Royal Academy of Music, with Joanna MacGregor as
her teacher. In 2014, she joined the trio formed by her cellist and violinist
brothers, and in 2019 made a name for herself with the album Romance - The Piano
Music of Clara Schumann, released by Decca and ranked #1 in the UK classical
