Isaiah Sharkey
Isaiah Sharkey, born July 14, 1989, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American
guitarist and singer-songwriter. Raised in a musical family, he began his
journey at age four, singing in a church choir. By 14, he was performing in
local jazz clubs. In 2005, Sharkey released Skyliner, his debut album of jazz
standards. His breakthrough came when he met D'Angelo in 2009 and toured with
him for five years, contributing to the Grammy-winning Black Messiah (2014).
This led to collaborations with artists like Chris Martin, Paul Simon, and Patti
