Manchester-born Interplanetary Criminal began his career as a producer and DJ in 2012 while pursuing his university studies. Initially active in his hometown's garage house and lo-fi scene, he moved to Leeds, where he refined his style by exploring dark breaks, influenced by Mall Grab, DJ Seinfeld and DJ Boring. Returning to Manchester in 2016, he released his first productions on SoundCloud, then signed his debut EP Intergalactic Jack to E-Beamz in 2017.
