Ilse Eerens, born in 1982 in Maasmechelen, Belgium, is soprano opera singer. She
began her vocal training at 14 at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven and later
studied at the New Opera Academy in Amsterdam/The Hague. Eerens made her
professional debut in 2009 performing roles in Moses und Aron at the
Ruhrtriennale. Subsequent performances include Parsifal (2011), Le grand macabre
(2011), The Magic Flute (2014), and Un ballo in maschera (2015). Eerens has
collaborated with prominent orchestras including the Munich Radio Orchestra and
the Brussels Philharmonic.
