Hot Rod Circuit is an American emo and indie rock band formed in 1997 in Auburn,
Alabama. Initially known as Antidote, the quartet featured vocalist Andy
Jackson, guitarist Casey Prestwood, bassist Jason Russell, and drummer Wes
Cross. They released their debut studio album, Mr. Glenboski, in 1998 on New
World Records and were named the Best Unsigned Band of 1998 by Musician
Magazine. After moving to Connecticut and adopting the name Hot Rod Circuit,
they signed with Triple Crown Records to release If I Knew Now What I Knew Then
