Hollow Coves
Hollow Coves is an Australian indie folk duo formed in Brisbane in 2013 by Ryan
Henderson and Matt Carins, now based in Gold Coast, Queensland. The founding
members alternate as lead vocalists and share songwriting duties. Before
pursuing music full-time, Henderson worked as a civil engineer and Carins worked
as a carpenter. The duo gained early online recognition in 2014 after uploading
tracks including "The Woods" to SoundCloud. Their single "Coastline" earned gold
certifications in the United States, Australia, and Canada, winning Song of the
