Hilary John Davan Wetton, born on December 23, 1943, is a British conductor. He began his career as Director of Music at various schools including St Albans School and Cranleigh School. His breakthrough moment came when he founded the Holst Singers, with whom he made several acclaimed recordings. Notable albums include Vaughan Williams: Five Tudor Portraits - Five Mystical Songs (1988), Holst: the Planets (1989) and Flowers of the Field (2014).
