Hasan Salaam
Hasan Salaam, born January 12, 1981, is an American rapper. He began rapping at
ten and became inspired by The Autobiography of Malcolm X after watching a
preview for the 1992 film Malcolm X. His breakthrough came with the song
“Blaxploitation”, from his debut album Paradise Lost (2005), which won him Best
Live Performance and Best Underground Song of the Year at the third Annual
Underground Music Awards. Salaam released 5th Column Mixtape Vol.II (2004),
