Harry Manx, born in 1955 on the Isle of Man, is a Canadian musician known for
blending blues, folk music, and Hindustani classical music. He began his career
as a roadie at age 15, eventually becoming the regular sound man at Toronto's El
Mocambo club. In the late 1970s, Manx moved to Europe and later Japan, where he
lived and performed for a decade. Manx returned to Canada in 2000 and recorded
his debut album, Dog My Cat, released in 2001. He has since released numerous
