Born in San Francisco on October 25, 1986, Hannah Cohen grew up in a family of
musicians and artists, including her father, jazz drummer Myron Cohen. As a
teenager, she moved to New York, where she became involved in the art and music
scenes, modeling for renowned photographers and working at the Village Vanguard.
Her debut album Child Bride, in a folk pop vein, was released in 2012, followed
by Pleasure Boy in 2015. In 2019, she released Welcome Home, produced by her
