Grupo Mojado
Grupo Mojado is a Mexican regional music group formed in 1986 in Matamoros,
Tamaulipas, Mexico; early in their career they signed with Fonovisa and began
issuing recordings that blended grupera-style ballads, cumbia, ranchera and
traditional norteño sounds. In 1995 they released Pensando En Ti, followed in
1996 by Sueño y Realidad, the latter of which included the singles “Caldo de
Pollo” and “Piensa en Mí,” both of which entered Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs
charts; “Piensa en Mí” earned the group a Premio Lo Nuestro award in the
