Grand Analog, a Canadian hip hop band fronted by Odario Williams, was formed in
2006. The band initially began as a rock-oriented side project from Williams'
main band Mood Ruff in 2002 but evolved into a hip hop ensemble with influences
from R&B, jazz, reggae, and rock. Grand Analog released their debut album
Calligraffiti in 2007, followed by Metropolis is Burning in May 2009, which
topped the Canadian community and campus radio hip hop chart for several weeks.
