Giuseppa Gaetana Ferreri, known professionally as Giusy Ferreri, was born on April 17, 1979 in Palermo, Italy, and is an Italian pop singer. She began learning piano, playing guitar, and taking singing lessons as a teenager, later performing with cover bands in genres such as grunge, rock, and blues.
