Giannis Aggelakas, born October 30, 1959, in Thessaloniki, Greece, is a Greek
singer, songwriter, and poet. In 1983, he co-founded the rock band Trypes with
Giorgos Karras. The group achieved success, becoming a cornerstone of Greek rock
music and performing internationally. After Trypes disbanded in 1999, Aggelakas
continued his solo career, collaborating with Nikos Veliotis and the band Οι
Επισκέπτες (The Visitors). His album Apo 'do Ke Pano (From Here on Out),
released in 2006, was a success in Greece. He also contributed to other artists'
works, such as writing "Kyria ton mes...
