Giannis Aggelakas

Giannis Aggelakas, born October 30, 1959, in Thessaloniki, Greece, is a Greek singer, songwriter, and poet. In 1983, he co-founded the rock band Trypes with Giorgos Karras. The group achieved success, becoming a cornerstone of Greek rock music and performing internationally. After Trypes disbanded in 1999, Aggelakas continued his solo career, collaborating with Nikos Veliotis and the band Οι Επισκέπτες (The Visitors).
