Gerardo Nieto, born Gerardo Lirio Nieto Cabrera on April 27, 1969, in
Montevideo, Uruguay, began his musical path in local carnival groups such as Los
Carlitos before joining bands Sonora Caribe, Karibe con K, and La Autentika. His
professional breakthrough came with the release of the single "Sortilegio de
Luna" in 2018, followed by "A Mi Tambíen" and "Cuando Alguien Me Nombre" the
