Gabriel Pérez, born in 1964 in Córdoba, Argentina, is an Argentinian musician,
saxophonist, clarinetist, flutist of modern jazz, and a composer. His career
began in the Córdoba Symphonic Wind Orchestra from 1984 to 1988 and the
Scaramouche Saxophone Quartet. After teaching at the FH Collegium Córdoba from
1986 to 1989, he moved to Germany, studying saxophone under Frank Gratkowski and
composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. His breakthrough came
