Frits Landesbergen

Frits Landesbergen, born on 18 January 1961 in Voorschoten, Netherlands, is a Dutch vibraphonist, percussionist, and arranger. After completing studies at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in 1985, he joined the Hoornse Big Band and the Pim Jacobs Trio before forming ensemble with Rein de Graaff, Harry Emmery and Eric Ineke. He received the Wessel‑Ilcken‑Young Talent Prize and the Pall Mall Swing Award in 1986. His album Alone Together was released in 1987, followed by First Moves (2002) featuring Jimmy Haslip.
