Francine Golde, better known as Franne Golde or Frannie Golde, is an American
songwriter, musician, singer, and writer. Early in her career, she formed her
first band, Frannie, Zoey, with J.D., which received local acclaim while she
recorded for Atlantic and later Epic/Portrait. Her breakthrough came when Diana
Ross recorded "Gettin' Ready for Love," co-written by Golde and Tom Snow, which
became a top-10 international hit on the album Baby It's Me. Golde wrote
numerous songs, including "Don't Look Any Further" with Dennis Lambert and Duane
