Francine Jordi
Francine Jordi, born Francine Lehmann on June 24, 1977, in Grosshöchstetten,
Canton of Bern, Switzerland, is a Swiss pop and schlager singer and television
presenter. Raised in Richigen, Jordi made her first stage appearance at age 9 in
Morcote before studying voice and piano at the Conservatoire de Neuchâtel. Jordi
achieved her commercial breakthrough in 1998, winning the Grand Prix der
Volksmusik with the song “Das Feuer der Sehnsucht”. In 2002, Jordi represented
Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Dans le jardin de mon
