Foxy is a Latin dance/disco group from Hialeah, Florida, formed in 1976. The
original lineup included Ish "Angel" Ledesma on vocals and guitar, Richard
"Richie" Puente on percussion, Charlie Murciano on keyboards, Arnold Paseiro on
bass, and Joe Galdo on drums, with Gary Ortiz as co-lead vocalist for their
first album. Foxy's breakthrough came in 1978 with the release of "Get Off",
which peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Number 1 on the Soul chart
