For Today, an American Christian metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa, was
formed in 2005 by Ryan Leitru, Mike Reynolds, David Morrison, and Jon Lauters.
The band's initial lineup underwent changes, with Mattie Montgomery joining as
the lead vocalist. Their debut album, Ekklesia, was released in 2008 through
Facedown Records. The following year, they released their second album,
