Florencia Núñez, born on February 21, 1991 in Rocha, Uruguay, is a
singer‑songwriter. She began guitar, voice and theater lessons at 15 and later
studied Communication in Montevideo. She released her first EP, Estas canciones
no están en ningún disco, in 2011, followed by the debut album Mesopotamia in
2014, which earned her the 2015 Graffiti Award for Best Indie Album. She
followed with Palabra clásica in 2017, winning the 2018 Graffiti Award for
