Veteran South Korean girl group Fin.K.L (Korean: 핑클) was one of the best-loved
K-pop groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Formed by DSP Media in 1998, the
group – comprising Lee Hyori, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin and Sung Yu-ri – released
four albums, before going on indefinite hiatus in 2003. Fin.K.L's debut LP, Blue
Rain, emerged in 1998 and bucked the trend for upbeat pop with its focus on R&B
balladry. White followed in 1999, spawning hit singles "Everlasting Love"
(Korean: 영원한 사랑) and "Pride"(Korean: 자존심). Now arrived in 2000, peaking at
Number 2 on the Korean chart, and Fin....
