Fences
Fences is the artist name of American Christopher Mansfield, originally from
Seattle, Washington. A graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music in
Boston, Massachusetts, he came to the attention of Sara Quin of Tegan & Sara in
2009 with his Ultimate Puke EP (2008). In 2010, he released the album Fences,
which was mostly well received by critics. Also appreciated by Macklemore, he
receives support from the latter and Ryan Lewis, who both feature on the single
"Arrows " in 2014. This first international success was followed by the release
of the album Lesser Oceans in 2015.
