Ezra Collective
Formed in London in 2012, the Ezra Collective originally consisted of Joe
Armon-Jones (keyboards), Dylan Jones (trumpet, later replaced by Ife Ogunjobi in
2019), James Mollison (saxophone), and brothers TJ Koleoso (bass) and Femi
Koleoso (drums). Part of the London music scene of the 2010s, blending cosmic
jazz, funk, rap, and Afrobeat, the group released the EPs Chapter 7 (2016) and
Juan Pablo: The Philosopher (2018), and played to sold-out crowds, which earned
them the attention of DJ Gilles Peterson and recognition from Jazz FM, which
named them Best British Band and Best Live...
