Michael Perretta, known professionally as Evidence, was born on December 10,
1976, in Venice, Los Angeles. He started his artistic journey through graffiti
before transitioning into music and co-founding the rap group Dilated Peoples
with Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu in 1992. The group released several albums,
including The Platform (2000) and Expansion Team (2001). Evidence's solo career
began with the release of "Third Degree" in 1997, followed by his debut album
