Eva Rydberg
Eva Rydberg, born Eva Gunilla Johansson Rydberg on 20 June 1943, is a Swedish
singer, actress, comedian, and dancer. Born in Malmö, she became involved in
singing and acting at a very early age, joining a children's theater at Malmö
Folkets Park. She took up ballet dancing in her teens, eventually joining the
Knäppupp-Revue in Stockholm and touring the country with the group. Eva Rydberg
quickly expanded to acting roles, joining the Odense Theater in Denmark in 1965,
where she played the role of Anybody in their production of West Side Story.
