Erann David Drori, known professionally as Erann DD, was born on September 7,
1967, in Copenhagen, Denmark. A singer-songwriter of Yemeni-Jewish origin, he
began his musical journey at a young age. At the start of the 1990s, Erann DD
sang with the funk band Zapp Zapp and later formed the duo Drori-Hansen
Furniture with Casper Hansen. His breakthrough as a solo artist came with the
double platinum-selling album Still Believing in 2000, which sold over 125,000
