Nicklaus Schandelmaier, known professionally as En Esch, is a German musician
and composer born on 23 March 1968 near Frankfurt. He achieved professional
recognition as a member of the industrial rock ensemble KMFDM between 1985 and
1999, contributing to ten studio albums as a vocalist, percussionist, and
producer. His recording career includes the debut solo studio recording Cheesy
(1993) and the track “Confidence” (1993). During the early 1990s, he
collaborated with the ensemble Pigface, performing on the studio recording Gub
