Ellie Lawson
Ellie Lawson, born in Croydon, South London, is a British folk and electronic
dance music singer-songwriter. Her debut album, The Philosophy Tree, was
released in 2005, featuring tracks produced by William Orbit and DJ Lethal. Her
notable performances include opening for Jimmy Doherty’s festival alongside KT
Tunstall and José González, as well as appearances at Abbey Road Studios during
the Brit Awards and the Sundance Film Festival. Lawson has released several
albums and EPs under her own label Create Your Own Reality, such as Resonate in
2013.
