Elane

Elane is a German folk group from the Sauerland region. Formed in 2001 by the musicians Joran Elane and Markus Skroch, the ensemble performs songs primarily in English but also incorporates lyrics in German, Latin and Elvish. The group issued its debut demo, Der Nachtwald, in 2001. Their recording history included the studio albums The Fire of Glenvore (2004), Lore of Nén (2006) and The Silver Falls (2008).
